Baja Adventures provides Eco snorkeling tours of Baja by sailboat in the Sea of Cortez,
The 20 mile long bay, named Bahia Concepcion south of the city of Mulege, a city along
the western coast on Sea of Cortez, is our area of exploration. The smaller bay within
Bahia Concepcion called Bahia Coyote is a popular, yet still pristine area where scores of smaller white sand beach coves supply miles and miles of beach combing and water side camping
opportunities, There are also a number of islands within this smaller bay that provide for
days and days of exploration and adventure both on land and in the water.
The day long tour that we offer is geared for both beginner and advance snorkelers.
It starts with a sailboat cruise to the northern islands of Bahia Coyote. Here we enjoy
a couple of hours snorkeling and island exploration. Once back aboard, we enjoying a full
lunch as we sail south to the larger southern islands in the bay, where we will find
some of the best snorkeling and diving areas in all of Baja. Here we spend the afternoon
playing in the water, exploring the island, or simply laying on the white sand beach and
soaking up some sun. We then end our day by sailing back to your
original point of departure, along the way enjoying a lite meal with plenty of beverages
(local beer is included) to keep you more then content as we enjoy the
beauitful coastline of this pristine area of the Baja.
Baja Adventures also offers a sunset sailing 5 nights a week Tuesday thru Saturday.
If Sailing is not your thing and you would like to explore Bahia Concepcion alone, then we
also have Sea Kayak / Snorkeling package rentals for your own adventure.
Jacques Cousteau once described the Sea of Cortez as the "World's Aquarium" and the
"Galapagos of North America". We at Baja Adventures look forward to sharing this beautiful and pristine part of the
"world's aquarium" with you.
